Riley Velasquez also known as DJ Rylo said he works to be a voice of positivity, to promote self-love, living well, and being kind.

"I'm excited. I'm excited for people to find the positive messages that I'm bringing. I feel like people are just tired of the negativity. People are more conscious of what they're saying and what they're showing, and I feel like sometimes in our society we do need to bring positive and uplifting words and change," said Velasquez.

As an artist who performs around Houston in a variety of musical genres and for a variety of audiences, Riley said he tries to find his niche to be able to express his own personality.

"I love music. That's all I've ever done. The fun is creating a show or coming up with a concept for an event and seeing it come to life."
